Killbuck OH: Ronald E. Pappa Has Died, Cause Of Death

Ronald E. Pappa, 44, of Killbuck, Ohio, passed away tragically on April 22, 2026, following a motor vehicle accident on State Route 241 in Holmes County. His sudden passing has left his family, friends, and the entire Killbuck community mourning the loss of a man known for his kindness, generosity, and unwavering love for those around him.

Born in Millersburg, Ohio, Ronald was a lifelong resident of Holmes County and proudly called Killbuck home. He was a hardworking and dependable man who spent many years working in construction and heavy equipment operation. Ronald was admired for his strong work ethic, mechanical skills, and willingness to lend a helping hand whenever it was needed. If someone had a problem, Ronald was often the first person there with tools in hand and a smile on his face.

To those closest to him, Ronald was much more than a worker or neighbor—he was a devoted father, loving son, caring brother, and loyal friend. His greatest joy in life was his two children, whom he loved deeply. He treasured every moment spent with them, whether camping, fishing, or simply making memories together. Family was always at the center of Ronald’s life, and he never missed an opportunity to support and encourage those he loved.

Ronald will be remembered for his warm heart, sense of humor, and the countless quiet acts of kindness he showed throughout his life. He had a way of making people feel welcome and valued, and his presence brought comfort to many.

He is survived by his children; his parents, Carol and Edward Pappa; his sister, Melissa Pappa-Hughes; extended family members; and many dear friends.

Funeral services will be held Monday, April 27, 2026, at Killbuck United Methodist Church, followed by burial at Killbuck Cemetery. Ronald’s memory will live on in all who knew and loved him.
